Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi, the Worst. Speaker. Ever. held a press conference today after it was announced that Anthony Weiner would resign. Later today she released a statement.

Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi released the following statement today after Congressman Anthony Weiner announced his resignation from the U.S. House of Representatives:
“Today, with the love of his family, the confidence of his constituents and the recognition of his need for help, Congressman Weiner has announced that he will resign from Congress.
“Congressman Weiner exercised poor judgment in his actions and poor judgment in his reaction to the revelations. Today, he made the right judgment in resigning.
“I pray for him and his family and wish them well.”
Actually Nancy, his wife Huma was absent today at Weiner’s resignation. But, we’ll pretend she supports him anyway.
