Obama told us that if the young people in Tahrir Square feel like they have hope and opportunity they are less likely to channel all the frustration into anti-Israel or anti-Western sentiments. Then again, Obama always believed that Islamist terrorism was caused by unemployment and poverty.
Boy, was he wrong.
