Here’s Meet the Press host David Gregory‘s opening line to conservative Republican star Paul Ryan today on the budget negotiations this week.
“I want to start where I started with Mr. Plouffe. How much responsibility do Republicans take for this spectacle of the near shutdown of the government, and shouldn’t you all be embarrassed?”
That was just the opening question:

Now compare what he said to Rep. Paul Ryan to what he asked Obama’s Senior Adviser David Plouffe this morning:
“Does the president feel some responsibility for all that transpired a near government shutdown?”
No bias there.
