2000 Carnahan Campaign: "Don't Let the Fire Go Out"… 2010 Carnahan Campaign: "Put It Out"

My, how times have changed…
In 2000 Senator Jean Carnahan mother of leftists Russ and Robin Carnahan penned a book,
Don’t Let the Fire Go Out

To me the fire is a splendid metaphor for life. Sometimes raging and fervent, sometimes glowing softly and evenly, other times reduced to struggling embers.

But, they’ll have to shelf that family slogan this year.
…Especially since the whole country knows that things tend to get a bit heated down at the Carnahan campaign headquarters.

On Wednesday Pelosi-Democrat Russ Carnahan admitted that a teabagger campaign staffer was responsible for firebombing his St. Louis finance office.

The suspect who firebombed Rep. Russ Carnahan’s office last week was reportedly a disgruntled progressive activist employed by the democrat. An unnamed source familiar with the case released the information. Suspect Chris Powers reportedly was upset because he did not get paid so he firebombed the Carnahan finance offices at 2 in the morning. Powers reportedly is was a paid canvasser for Russ Carnahan.

It’s time for a new slogan.
Put it out, Russ. Put it out.

UPDATE: Hey- A Carnahan theme song:
“I fell into a burning ring of fire.
And it burns, burns, burns. The ring of fire.”
