The St. Louis Tea Party Coalition will celebrate its one year anniversary tomorrow at the St. Louis Arch at 1:30 PM CST.
Local Channel 4 KMOV reported on the anniversary tea party celebration tonight. Dr. Gina Loudon, one of the tea party organizers, was interviewed for the segment.
The St. Louis Tea Party will start promptly at 1:30 p.m. and end at 2:30 p.m., rain or shine. Participants will hear from a small group of speakers before dumping tea leaves (please remove from, and properly dispose of, all bags) into the Mississippi River. No pitchforks. Signs cannot have sticks/poles. Parking is available on the cobblestone for $4 or attendees can use Arch parking. More information can be found at www.stlouisteaparty.com.
