Outrage: Obama Tripled Budget Deficit in 2009– Today He BLAMED IT ALL On Bush (Video)

Barack Obama and Congressional Democrats tripled the national deficit in one year. They will likely top that this year.

During the Bush years, despite the 2000 Recession, the attacks on 9-11, the stock market scandals, Hurricane Katrina, and wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the Bush Administration was able to reduce the budget deficit from 412 billion dollars in 2004 to 162 billion dollars in 2007, a sixty percent drop. In 2004 the federal budget deficit was 412 billion dollars. In 2005 it dropped to 318 billion dollars. In 2006 the deficit dipped to 248 billion dollars. And, in 2007 it fell below 200 billion to 162 billion dollars. During the Bush years the average unemployment rate was 5.2 percent, the economy saw the strongest productivity growth in four decades and there was robust GDP growth.

Today Barack Obama rewrote history. Barack Obama for the first time blamed George Bush for leaving him with a $1.3 trillion budget deficit, or nearly all of his $1.4 trillion 2009 budget deficit. This is an awful lie and Barack Obama knows it.

Obama also talks about being responsible with money today in his address yet the democrats just blew a trillion dollars on a failed stimulus plan. He talks about being responsible just one day after authorizing $1.9 trillion more federal debt. Let’s face it, as Americans we have never seen someone quite like Barack Obama:

President Barack Obama said Saturday new budget rules that say spending increases must be matched by spending cuts will force Congress to “pay for what it spends, just like everybody else.” (AP Feb. 13)

Of course, Obama attacked the “wealthy” in his weekly address, too.

UPDATE: Dale Matteis sent in this observation:

As I’ve watched Obama over the last several years I have come slowly to the decision that he is not only a serial liar, but that he is a pathological liar. Von Munchausen was a European soldier several centuries ago who told fantastic stories about his exploits and campaigns, seemed totally convicted of their truth, but in fact those exploits existed only in his mind at the time of telling. Thus Obama. Thus Von Munchausen’s Disease. It is a disease and Obama has it big time.

Obama’s style is also closely related to that of Saruman in the Ring Trilogy. Saruman’s strength was in his voice – entirely persuasive and effective. But only so long as he could isolate his audience to specific types. With mixed nationalities, experiences and persuasions confronting him at the same time as at the confrontation at Orthanc, his lies became open books for while he persuaded one group the others were free to see him as he was. Taken a step farther, Saruman had his Wormtongue as a sidekick, Obama has Robert Glib. The parallels are striking.
