This came in the mail last night from Victory Caucus.
Patty Patton-Bader, founder of Soldier’s Angels is a semi-finalist for “America’s Favorite Mom” contest.
Patti Patton-Bader, founder of Soldiers’ Angels , is one of the fifteen semi-finalists in NBC’s “America’s Favorite Mom” contest. There are five categories, and she is nominated with two other mom’s in the “military mom’s” category. The winner receives a $250,000 cash prize, and Patti has said she’d like to use the money to build a ranch for soldiers and their families to vacation at with assistance from Angel families.
Patti will be featured the morning of Monday May 5th on NBC’s Today Show, and all day Monday (but ONLY Monday) folks will have the opportunity to vote at NBC.com in her category.
All the mom’s are deserving, so whether you decide to vote for Patti or not, check it out!
I had the honor of speaking with Patty Patton-Bader, the founder of Soldier’s Angels, earlier this year at the Power Line Book Awards:
Patty spoke briefly on how her organization was planning on spending the money they were awarded and how she hoped to upstage Henry Kissinger with her speech that evening.
She is a delightful woman and certainly full of energy.
Good luck in this week’s contest, Patty!
