Iran Lashes Out at "Christian Zionists" At Friday Prayers

Iranian Ayatollah Mohammad Emami Kashani lashed out at the “Christian Zionists” today at Friday Prayers in Tehran.
Iranian Fars News reported:

Addressing a large congregation of worshippers on Tehran University Campus here on Friday, Emami Kashani noted the speech made by the US president several days earlier, and said, “We should see what is going on in the world…and what goals enemies of Islam are pursuing.”

He touched on the US Congress ratification of a war budget despite the country’s ailing economy, and said, “Despite all the crimes committed by the US and the Jewish and Christian Zionism in the world, the US president does not feel ashamed and has demanded the Congress to ratify more budget for war and bloodshed.”

…Emami Kashani condemned Bush’s deceitful claims that pressure on Iran for stopping uranium enrichment aimed at restoration of peace and security in the region.


The cleric also reminded the US crimes in different parts of the world, and said, “Even though their crimes which are aired by the world television stations have brought the world an environment of insecurity and despite the fact that they provide Israel with hundreds of nuclear warheads, they say that Iran should give up nuclear enrichment because they want to establish security.”
