After Comparing Obama to Jesse Jackson- Clinton's Seek Gentler Role For Billy Jeff

After comparing Barack Obama with fellow black Democrat and race hustler Jesse Jackson on Saturday…

… The Clinton’s campaign says they will seek a softer gentler Billy Jeff in the future.

Bill Clinton insisted that he not said anything that was factually inaccurate and that his message was 99.99% positive on Saturday.
Insiders want him to work on that .01%.

The Clinton’s campaign suffered another blow this weekend- Teddy Kennedy is endorsing Barack Obama.
The New York Times reported, via Drudge:

Mr. Kennedy had become increasingly disenchanted with the tone of the Clinton campaign, aides said. He and former President Bill Clinton had a heated telephone exchange earlier this month over what Mr. Kennedy considered misleading statements by Mr. Clinton about Mr. Obama, as well as his injection of race into the campaign.

This may force Hillary into another crying jag.

Meanwhile, his wife Hillary Clinton broke her pledge and is campaigning in Florida today.

UPDATE: Another blow… Toni Morrison — who famously declared Bill Clinton to be the nation’s “first black president” — is endorsing Barack Obama for president today –ABC News.

UPDATE: Michelle Malkin is liveblogging the Kennedy Osama-Obama endorsement.
