Indonesian Workers Protest For Jailed Iranian Union Leader

The International Transport Workers Union is reaching out to a jailed union brother in Iran.

Indonesian Transport Workers Association members protested yesterday in Jakarta in support of Iranian Driver’s Union Leader Mansour Osanloo who is jailed at Evin Prison.

Indonesian Workers Association on Monday, October 8th gathered in front of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s embassy in Jakarta, in support of Mansour Osanloo, the esteemed leader of the greater Tehran bus driver’s union who is currently detained at Evin prison in Tehran. The workers chanted slogans for the immediate and unconditional release of Osanloo and other labor activists imprisoned in Iran.


Representatives of the International Transport Workers Union are currently in Tehran and are seeking a meeting with imprisoned trade union leader Mansour Osanloo.
