Winkle and the Paw Family from San Francisco are huge donors to the Democratic party. Suitably Flip reported that Winkle made more than $150,000 in political contributions to at least 40 Hsu-favored candidates and committees since 2004. 6 other members of the Paw family (all holed up in that cozy green house in Daly City) gave another $143,000.
