Iranian Bazteb News today reported that an Iranian lawmaker says that US neocons founded and are behind the Al Qaeda and the Taliban and that the neocons reap the greatest benefits from the actions by the terror groups.
Rapporteur of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Kazem Jalali, an Iranian lawmaker, says the US has founded the al-Qaeda and Taliban terrorist groups to achieve its objectives through their terrorist acts.
Rapporteur of Majlis (parliament) National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Kazem Jalali described the US political hardliners as the ‘founders and supporters’ of al-Qaeda and Taliban and insisted that terrorist actions conducted by these two groups are all in line with the US interests, according to Press TV.
Jalali said the US president George Bush and American neoconservatives reap the greatest benefits from such terrorist attacks.
The MP said the US is trying to point the finger of blame at Iran for the terrorist attacks in Iraq and Afghanistan although it is crystal-clear that these attacks are carried out by al-Qaeda and Taliban forces trained and supported by the US.
In January Kazem Jalali claimed that the world media, influenced by the Zionist regime, intended to show an inappropriate image of Iran.
