Despite AIDS Cure Announcement, HIV Patients Rally in Tehran

On Wednesday September 6, 2006, the Iranian National News Service announced that the mullacracy had discovered the herbal and chemical cure for the treatment of AIDS. The mullahs went public later in the day with their “scientific” findings.

It was only later that day that Miss Kelly noted that Iranian Nuclear Chief Mohammad Sa’idi claimed the mullahs were using “Heavy Water” as a health drink!

“Heavy water” – or deuterium oxide (2H2O) – can be used to treat AIDS and cancer!

Despite this news…
Today Winston reports from a Persian website that a crowd of HIV/AIDS positive patients staged a rally in ward 11 in the city of Tehran against the closure of one of their treatment centers!

Maybe, the patients did not want to be the test group for the “Heavy Water” studies?
