It's Georgian Independence Day- Give a Toast to Freedom!

Russia may have boycotted Georgian wine, but that doesn’t mean you have to.

Please join Georgian President Saakashvili and enjoy a taste of Georgian wine.

Russia banned imports of Georgian wine and mineral water for health and safety reasons, but Georgia’s leaders said it was part of a political campaign to punish them for pro-Western policies.

The Registan says the “Freedom Wine” campaign is a looking like a win for Georgia.

Just a little reminder…

Georgia was that very Pro-American stop for George and Laura Bush last year- pictured here is Freedom Square.
