Hillary Covers All Bases at Princeton Talk

Hillary accuses Bush Administration of outsourcing Iran problem,
VIDEO HERE.

** Like her husband, Hillary covered all the bases in her talk last night in Princeton, New Jersey **

Hillary the “Hawk-ette”, as quoted in Newsday:

“I believe that we lost critical time with … Iran because the White House chose to downplay the threats and to outsource the negotiations,” she said. “I don’t believe … in standing on the sidelines.” Clinton accused the White House of “substituting ideology and arrogance” for “evidence-based decision-making.”

Hillary the “UN Sanction-ette” as quoted in the New York Times:

“We cannot and should not – must not – permit Iran to build or acquire nuclear weapons,” she said. “In order to prevent that from occurring, we must have more support vigorously and publicly expressed by China and Russia, and we must move as quickly as feasible for sanctions in the United Nations.

Hillary the “Cut & Run-ette” as quoted from Newsday:

Clinton said she was optimistic that U.S. troop levels in Iraq could be reduced this year. Allying herself with Rep. Jack Murtha (D-Pa.), the former first lady said she believes the U.S. military in the region should be reduced to a relatively small, quick-strike force to “send a message to Iran that they don’t have a free hand” in the region.

Hillary the “Mullah Pupp-ette” as quoted by Geoff Mulvihill from the Associated Press:

“History has weighed heavily on the Middle East. What we have tried to do over the last 30 years, starting with President Carter, moving through other presidents, including my husband, and now this president, is to send a uniquely American message: `It can get better. Just get over it.'”

Is there anyone who could have walked out of that Princeton talk without shaking their head in bewilderment?

At least with Texas Republicans you know where they stand. With this hodge-podge of ideas that Hillary just threw out there, Hillary basicly left all of her options open. She really leaves no clue of where she really stands from this hawkish-dovish-cut-and-runneth Princeton talk. But, it does allow her to come back and say, “I told you so!”
