According to a recent news report, the police in Uvalde, Texas, never attempted to open a classroom door while a gunman spent 77 minutes killing 19 children and two teachers who were inside. According to the family of Irma Garcia, one of two teachers killed in Tuesday’s mass shooting, her husband of 24 years, Joe Garcia, has now died. Garcia’s nephew, John Martinez, posted on , “EXTREMELY heartbreaking and come with deep sorrow to say that my Tia Irma’s husband Joe Garcia has passed away due to grief, I truly am at a loss for words for how we are all feeling, PLEASE PRAY FOR OUR FAMILY, God have mercy on us, this isn’t easy.” Local news reporter, Ernie Zuniga,posted on that Garcia suffered a fatal heart attack.
