Mark Levin Blasts Jon Stewart: “Read Up Ivy League Boy, Figure Out What’s Going On Before You Cut Your Stupid Jokes” (Video)

Conservative bestselling author and radio host Mark Levin went on Hannity on Tuesday to bash Jon Stewart’s recent pro-Hamas segment.

“And, I’d like to educate Jon Stewart and his clapping seal studio audience and let them know Hamas is an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood. Hamas also was part of the PLO. The PLO’s history goes back to the Mufti, goes back to the Third Reich, to the Final Solution. Read up Ivy League boy. Try and figure out exactly what’s going on before you cut your stupid jokes.”

Ted Cruz Rips HBO and “True Blood” for Hateful ‘Republi-c*nt’ Episode (Video)

Posted by Jim Hoft on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, 7:30 PM

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) lashed out at HBO and “True Blood” for its misogynist and blood-soaked episode this past weekend that included the hateful term “Republi-cunt.”

Breitbart.com reported:

Using Facebook, Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz responded to a Sunday night episode of HBO’s “True Blood.” The show revolved around a vampire bloodbath at a fictional Ted Cruz fundraising event held at the George W. Bush Presidential Library. The episode is laced with insults aimed at the GOP and coins the term “Republi-cunt.”

Cruz labeled the episode “misogynist and profanity-ridden” and then added that he was surprised “HBO is suggesting that hard-core leftists are blood-sucking fiends….”

Of all the places I never thought to be mentioned, HBO’s True Blood vampire show would have to be near the top of the list. Sunday night, they aired a misogynist and profanity-ridden episode where Texas Republicans are murdered attending a “Ted Cruz fundraiser.”

Well, I’m sorry to have lost the vampire vote, but am astonished (and amused) that HBO is suggesting that hard-core leftists are blood-sucking fiends….

FOR SECOND TIME… UNRWA Finds Stash of Rockets at Gaza School

For the second time in less than one week the United Nations found rockets hidden at one of its Gaza schools.
UNRWA reported:

Today, in the course of the regular inspection of its premises, UNRWA discovered rockets hidden in a vacant school in the Gaza Strip. As soon as the rockets were discovered, UNRWA staff were withdrawn from the premises, and so we are unable to confirm the precise number of rockets. The school is situated between two other UNRWA schools that currently each accommodate 1,500 internally displaced persons.

UNRWA strongly and unequivocally condemns the group or groups responsible for this flagrant violation of the inviolability of its premises under international law.

The Agency immediately informed the relevant parties and is pursuing all possible measures for the removal of the objects in order to preserve the safety and security of the school. UNRWA will launch a comprehensive investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident.

UNRWA has reinforced and continues to implement its robust procedures to maintain the neutrality of all its premises, including a strict no-weapons policy and regular inspections of its installations, to ensure they are only used for humanitarian purpose.

Meanwhile, Gaza terrorists fled fighting today in an ambulance.

ISIS Seizes 4th Century Christian Monastery in Northern Iraq – Kicks Out Its Monks

Posted by Jim Hoft on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, 4:28 PM

ISIS militants seized a 4th century Catholic Monastery and kicked out its monks on Sunday. The monks at Mar Behnam Monastery were forced to flee the monastery on foot with only the clothes on their back.

The Mar Behman Monastery was renovated in 1986, and is visited by thousands of Christians and Muslims yearly.

Several hundred Christians fled northern Iraq this week after threats by ISIS.

Russia Today reported:

Islamic militants have seized a monastery in northern Iraq, kicking out its Christian monks as well as Christian residents of Mosul.

Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL/ISIS) insurgents stormed the ancient Mar Benham monastery in the Christian town of Qaraqosh Sunday, near the northern Iraqi city of Mosul, which was overrun by ISIS on 10 June.

Mar Benham is a 4th century monastery run by the Syriac Catholic church.

A member of the Syriac clergy said the monks pleaded to be allowed to save some of the monastery’s relics but the ISIS fighters refused and ordered them to leave on foot with only the clothes on their back.

“You have no place here anymore, you have to leave immediately,” one of the militants told the monks, according to the clergyman.

The monks then walked several kilometers along a road and were eventually picked up by Kurdish Peshmerga fighters who drove them to Qaraqosh, AFP reported Monday.

Christian families in the area said that as well as the monks there may have been another nine people living in the monastery.

This is the latest move by ISIS, which is trying to create a caliphate in north eastern Syria and northern Iraq, a Salafist-orientated Islamist state, which follows an extreme anti-western interpretation of Islam, promotes religious violence and regards anyone with a different interpretation of religion as infidels and apostates.

Video was released of the monastery during a 2001 celebration.

WH Spokesman Josh Earnest: Administration Will Ignore Today’s Court Ruling on Obamacare (Video)

Posted by Jim Hoft on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, 11:12 AM

A federal appeals court panel declared Tuesday that government subsidies worth billions of dollars that helped 4.7 million people buy insurance on HealthCare.gov are illegal. The 2-1 ruling, according to CNBC, said such subsidies can be granted only to people who bought insurance in an Obamacare exchange run by an individual state or the District of Columbia—not on the federally run exchange HealthCare.gov. The decision is a potentially crippling blow to the unpopular law.

White House spokesman Josh Earnest told reporters this morning the administration will ignore the ruling.

‘This ruling does not have any practical impact on their ability to receive tax credits right now. Right now there are millions of Americans all across the country who are receiving tax credits from the federal government as a result of the Affordable Care Act. While this ruling is interesting to legal theorists it has no practical impact on their tax credits right not.”

They’ve decided once again not to respect the law.

Reports: Hamas Gave Code Pink Red Carpet Treatment During Gaza Visit; Code Pink Wore Hamas Gear

The news media, especially the Washington Post, is giving the so-called antiwar group Code Pink prominent coverage for the protests against Israel during its current defensive war with Hamas in Gaza.

What the Post and the rest of the media don’t report is that Code Pink is allied with the Hamas and has “diplomatic” relations with the terrorist group.

In June 2009 Code Pink made a trip to Hamas-controlled Gaza. According to reports by two participants, Code Pink had such a close relationship with Hamas that the terrorists literally rolled out the red carpet for Code Pink and that a Code Pink leader wore a Hamas hat at a meeting with Hamas.
In an article from the Socialist Worker found using Google Cache, Laura Durkay wrote:

“This warm welcome extended right up to the representatives of the Hamas government we interacted with, who treated us like diplomats–which, in a certain sense, we were, since no one from the U.S. government is currently taking up that role.

“At the end of our over-scheduled first full day in Gaza, we were greeted with a hasty announcement: “Freshen up, we’re going to parliament!”

“In the courtyard of the bombed-out Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) building, under a huge white UNICEF tent, our grubby, sweaty and tired delegation received the closest thing Gaza has to an official state welcome, including greetings from Ahmad Bahar, the acting head of the PLC.

“Now, whatever your opinion of Hamas, could you imagine the speaker of parliament in any other country in the world taking time out of his or her schedule to roll out the red carpet (literally!) for a scruffy bunch of antiwar activists?

“But if a red carpet welcome from Hamas–for our delegation of mostly women, led by Medea Benjamin, an American Jew–was not what many of us expected, it was nothing compared to the next night, when three Hamas MPs came back to our hotel to spend an hour and a half with us discussing politics, covering everything from the legitimacy of armed resistance under international law, to the Hamas-Fatah rift, to one-state versus two-state solutions.”

Another participant, Linda Todd, wrote up the June 2009 Code Pink trip in an article published at IsraellyCool last month. Todd reported that a Code Pink leader donned a “Hamas cap” at their meeting with Hamas. She says she was uneasy at how close Code Pink was with Hamas:

“One of our first stops after entering the Gaza Strip was to attend a Meet & Greet with local officials. I was very surprised to find that this meant that we were meeting with Hamas. This didn’t make sense to me. I felt that perhaps this was just a formality to be polite, but the green Hamas caps donned by one of the Code Pink group leaders suggested a warmer relationship.

Todd also added some personal observations of life in Gaza under Hamas:

“I had a great time there for those three weeks, but I could feel an almost palpable, heavy presence in the air. There was so much destruction left over from Operation Cast Lead. I couldn’t believe that after so long, there was still so much rubble lying around. It was depressing.

“I was told it was because Israel doesn’t allow building supplies. Fine, but why no clean up? Every question I asked had an answer – and the answers were always about what Israel was withholding.

“Later, much later, when I saw pictures of the concrete lined tunnels burrowing towards Israel, I couldn’t help but remember those crumbled buildings and wonder if the concrete could have been put to better use.

“There were Hamas officers on almost every major intersection, and at many smaller intersections too. They scrutinized every passing car, stopping whoever they chose to question. I was always advised not to look at them, so as not to draw attention to us.

“I thought that was odd. I had heard so much about the oppressive Israeli checkpoints throughout Gaza, and never expected to find similar Hamas installations once Israel had pulled out.”

Several times in her article Todd questions Code Pink’s close relationship with the terror group Hamas:

“This was not what I was expecting. Why were Code Pink so friendly with these oppressors? One thing that had drawn me to Code Pink was their apparent rejection of oppression and war, yet I could see this regime certainly qualified as being oppressive.”

“It is tragic to me that this Hamas, who obviously oppresses anyone who dares to disagree with them, would find such friendship in Code Pink or other such activists who claim to be struggling for peace.”

Reminder: Code Pink co-leader Jodie Evans served as a bundler for Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign and was a major donor to Obama and the Democrats that year. Hamas would be well aware of Code Pink’s close ties to Obama. That would help explain why the group acted as a messenger between Hamas and Obama on that trip.

Breaking: Israel Confirms Soldier Went Missing in Gaza on Sunday

Posted by Jim Hoft on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, 9:19 AM

Israel announced on Tuesday the remains of one soldier presumed to have been killed in Gaza on Sunday had not been recovered.

Sgt. Oron Shaul went missing on Sunday.
His photo was tweeted out by the terrorists.

The IDF identified the missing soldier as 21-year-old Sgt. Oron Shaul from Poria.

Gaza terrorists first released photos of Oron on Sunday.
Al-Jazeera reported:

An Israeli soldier is missing in the Gaza Strip and presumed dead, local media quoted the Israeli military as saying, as Israeli airstrikes hit targets in the enclave and diplomatic efforts intensified to end more than two weeks of fighting.

Israel’s Channel 10 News on Tuesday said the military believed the soldier, identified as Oron Shaul, was killed along with six other troops in an attack on an armoured vehicle on Sunday. However, the army has only identified six bodies.

Military sources believe that Hamas has his dog tags or uniform.

“If a soldier has been captured, this will deal a blow to the Israeli army,” Al Jazeera’s Kim Vinnell, reporting from West Jerusalem, said.

“It would give Palestinian fighters a significant leverage in the conflict,” she said.

The latest development came two days after Hamas announced it had captured a soldier during clashes, but did not say whether he was dead or alive.

Abu Ubaida, the spokesman of the Hamas’s armed wing, said the soldier was seized in heavy fighting on the Gaza border on Sunday.

He displayed a photo ID and army serial number of the man, but showed no image of him in their hands.

The Shaul family still has hope their son is alive.
