Less than 24 after a fence-jumper made it into the White House another man was arrested trying to drive his vehicle the screening area.
FOX News reported:

The Secret Service says a man was arrested for trying to unlawfully enter the White House Saturday afternoon, less than 24 hours after a fence-jumper made through the front doors of the iconic building.

According to the Secret Service, the incident started earlier Saturday afternoon when a man walked up to a gate on foot.

He later showed up at a different gate in a car and pulled into the vehicle screening area.

When the man was asked to leave and refused, he was placed under arrest and charged with unlawful entry.

“He didn’t actually break through the barricade, but he has been taken into custody,” Elizabeth Prann said on America’s News Headquarters this afternoon.

The man’s vehicle was screened by bomb technicians, and nearby streets were closed down, although the White House itself was not put on lockdown.

Not-So-Bright Wendy Davis Says: “I Don’t Regret” Voting For President Obama (Video)

Death knell for the Davis Campaign—
wendy davis out of touch

Someone forgot to send Wendy the memo – distance yourself from Obama…
Far left Democrat Wendy Davis told Even Smith from the Texas Tribune she still supports failed President Obama:

EVAN SMITH, TEXAS TRIBUNE: “Let me ask you a broad question. Is President Obama a millstone around your neck?”

SEN. WENDY DAVIS: “I don’t believe so. No.”

SMITH: “So if not, why didn’t you answer the question last night that General Abbott asked you? He asked you ‘do you regret your vote for President Obama?’ I listened. I didn’t hear you answer.”

SEN. DAVIS: “No I don’t regret it. But that question…”

She must have missed the memo to drop Obama from her public events.

There’s not such a thing as fair and objective journalism anymore.
In fact, Gallup just found that trust in the media is at an all-time low.

Unreal: Secret Service Praises ‘Restraint’ of Officers Who Allowed Intruder to Enter White House

The Secret Service issued a statement Saturday on the security breach at the White House Friday where a man jumped the fence and was able to run in to the White House before being captured by Secret Service officers.

Amazingly, the statement by the Secret Service praises the officers who allowed the man to run unmolested across the lawn to the North Portico entrance for showing “tremendous restraint and discipline” but did at least acknowledge that allowing him inside the doors to the White House was “not acceptable”.

“Although last night the officers showed tremendous restraint and discipline in dealing with this subject, the location of Gonzalez’s arrest is not acceptable.”

That the intruder wasn’t shot as he neared the White House may come as a surprise in the age of Islamist terrorist attacks on the United States homeland that commenced on 9/11 and the government’s fear of ‘lone wolf’ attacks. That he wasn’t shot may encourage ISIS terrorists who The Gateway Pundit reported last month threatened the White House in a tweet that purported to show an ISIS supporter displaying the ISIS flag on a smartphone in front of the White House.

The Washington Post reported a source said that a sniper had the intruder in his sights ‘just in case’ but did not shoot.

A former Secret Service agent told Fox News that protocol is to not shoot an intruder who appears unarmed. Dan Bongino told Fox he was concerned that the Secret Service’s trained dogs were not released to stop the intruder.

The Post also reported the government says the intruder was armed with a 2 ½ inch folding knife.

The intruder was identified by the government as Omar Gonzalez, 42, of Copperas Cove, Texas. The Post reported Gonzalez is a homeless Iraq war veteran who was a sniper. Gonzalez reportedly told agents who apprehended him he was trying to warn President Obama that the “atmosphere was collapsing”. Obama had left the White House for a weekend at Camp David just minutes before the incident.

The Daily Star reported:

Syrian Kurdish forces have withdrawn from around 60 villages in the face of an advance by Islamic State militants in northern Syria, a monitoring group said on Friday.

The Islamic State militants were using heavy weapons including artillery and tanks, said Rami Abdulrahman, director of the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

The map posted on an Islamist website shows the siege of Kobane by ISIS.

Yahoo reported:

Sitting in a field after just crossing the border, Abdullah Shiran, a 24-year-old engineer, recounted scenes of horror in his village of Shiran, about 10 km (six miles) from Kobani.

“IS came and attacked and we left with the women but the rest of the men stayed behind … They killed many people in the villages, cutting their throats. We were terrified that they would cut our throats too,” he said.

Residents Flee Sierra Leone to Escape Lockdown – Ebola Burial Crew Attacked East of Freetown

Posted by Jim Hoft on Saturday, September 20, 2014, 4:27 PM

Sierra Leone instituted an unprecedented three day lockdown this week in the country’s efforts to fight the Ebola outbreak.

Several thousand defied the three-day lockdown by crossing the border into Guinea without going through health controls.

A burial crew was attacked east of Freetown while they were trying to bury the bodies of five victims.
Yahoo-AP reported:

Some in Sierra Leone ran away from their homes Saturday and others clashed with health workers trying to bury dead Ebola victims as the country struggled through the second day of an unprecedented lockdown to combat the deadly disease.

Despite these setbacks, officials said most of Sierra Leone’s 6 million people were complying with orders to stay at home as nearly 30,000 volunteers and health care workers fanned out across the country to distribute soap and information on how to prevent Ebola.

The virus, spread by contact with bodily fluids, has killed than 560 people in Sierra Leone and more than 2,600 in West Africa since the outbreak began last December, according to the World Health Organization. It is killing about half of the people it infects.

The streets of the capital, Freetown, were empty Saturday except for the four-person teams going door to door with kits bearing soap, cards listing Ebola symptoms, stickers to mark houses visited and a tally to record suspected cases.

Among the volunteers was Idrissa Kargbo, a well-known marathoner who has qualified for races on three continents but whose training and career have been stymied by the outbreak…

…In a district 20 kilometers (12 miles) east of Freetown, police were called in Saturday to help a burial team that came under attack by residents as they were trying to bury the bodies of five Ebola victims, Sgt. Edward Momoh Brima Lahai said.

A witness told state television the burial team initially had to abandon the five bodies in the street and flee. Lahai said later the burials were successfully completed after police reinforcements arrived. The bodies of Ebola victims are very contagious and must be buried by special teams.

In northern Sierra Leone, health worker Lamin Unisa Camara said Saturday he had received reports that some residents had run away from their homes to avoid being trapped inside during the lockdown.

Dem Rep: 40 ISIS Fighters Have Returned to the US (Video)

Posted by Jim Hoft on Saturday, September 20, 2014, 10:43 AM

Rep. Tim Bishop (D-NY) told an audience last week that up to 100 Americans have joined the fight with ISIS in Syria-Iraq. Bishop also said 40 of those who left the country have returned to the US.

“ISIS is a very, very complex and very, very dangerous threat… It clearly is a threat to the stability of the Middle East and a region that is already remarkably unstable… One of the concerns is the number of US citizens who have left our country to go and join ISIS. I believe there have been some number, up to a hundred that have done that. It is also believed that some 40 of those who left this country to join up with ISIS have now returned to our country. Those 40 are under FBI attention.”

The Washington Free Beacon reported:

Rep. Tim Bishop (D., N.Y.) warned during a recent speech that up to 40 radicalized U.S. citizens who have fought alongside the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL or ISIS) have already returned to the United States, where they could pose a terrorist threat.

Bishop claims that of the 100 or so Americans who have traveled to the Middle East to join ISIL’s ranks, some 40 have returned and are currently being surveilled by the FBI, according to his remarks, which were filmed and uploaded to YouTube last week.

Aussie Muslims Rally Against Police Crackdown on Terrorists

Posted by Jim Hoft on Saturday, September 20, 2014, 9:52 AM

Australian police arrested 15 Islamists linked to ISIS on Wednesday September 17th.
The Muslim terrorists were planning public beheadings.

In response, Muslims in Sydney rallied against the police crackdown on Saturday.
Hundreds of Muslim protesters in Sydney called on Muslims to stand as one against government aggression. (SBS) reported, via Religion of Peace:

Signs reading “terror raids cannot break the spirit of Muslims” and “stop terrorising Muslims” were waived by about 10 people among the 200 who rallied in western Sydney to demonstrate against a series of pre-dawn anti-terrorism raids.

The protesters met outside Lakemba train station on Thursday night for the snap action, organised via social media.

About 50 people were watching from across the road.

The event was promoted under a banner featuring the hardline organisation Hizb Ut-Tahrir and is calling on the Muslim community to “stand as one” against “government aggression”.

“Women, children should be safe from the terror of the state,” they chanted.

The signs had small Hizb Ut-Tahrir Australia logos.

The atmosphere was calm with most people arriving and greeting friends and acquaintances before quietly congregating in a little park next to the train station.

The rally comes after after 15 people were detained during Australia’s largest counter-terrorism operation.

“We’re not hear to disrupt security,” Hizb Ut-Tahrir speaker Uthman Badar told the crowd.

“Muslims are as much concerned about security and peace as everyone else.”

The Muslim community would be “fools” if they were deceived by the spin being used to politicise security issues, he added.

Australian police released video of the terrorist raids this week.
