White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Wednesday said Joe Biden “has been to the border.”
This is a brazen lie.
Joe Biden drove by the border in El Paso once while he was on the campaign trail in 2008.
Biden has never been to the US-Mexico border.
“Kevin McCarthy said that he invited President Biden down to the border. How does the President RSVP? We know — we know the President’s never been down to the border. The possible next speaker says that he wants him to go with him, so is he going to?” Fox News reporter Peter Doocy asked Karine Jean-Pierre.

Karine Jean-Pierre lied and said Biden has been to the border.
“He’s been there. He’s been to the border and since he took office–” KJP said.
“When did he go to the border?” Peter Doocy asked.
“–since he took office, the President…has been taking action to fix our immigration issue.” KJP said.

Joe Biden has never been to the southern border and more than 5 million illegal aliens have crossed over the border since Biden was installed in January 2021.
