AOC Gets Fact Checked by Twitter Users on Her Lies About January 6 in Response to Elon Musk’s Poll to Reinstate Trump’s Twitter

On Friday, Elon Musk posted a poll asking if people wanted Donald Trump to be reinstated on Twitter.

New York Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez immediately took to Twitter after learning that Elon Musk is asking Twitter users whether or not Trump should be reinstated.

“[I don’t know] man, last time he was here this platform was used to incite an insurrection, multiple people died, the Vice President of the United States was nearly assassinated, and hundreds were injured but I guess that’s not enough for you to answer the question. Twitter poll it is,” AOC wrote.

The New York Democrat continued, saying that “The bipartisan [Jan. 6 committee] has extensively covered how Trump’s use of Twitter played a critical role in the violence of that day.”

“Review their extensive work & ask yourself why a billionaire is toying w/ bringing back the person responsible for this,” she continued.

She then posted a video of turncoat Mike Pence being escorted to an alternative location within the Capitol.

“Let’s see if he throttles this as “negativity” too,” she concluded.

Twitter’s Birdwatch notes immediately flagged and fact-checked her lies regarding the January 6th incident.

One user commented, “Weird how she didn’t include her own near-death encounter and rape fantasy fears from that historical day of terror… She sure did hype it a lot to forget it all so soon after and replace it with other things that also never happened…”

Another user replied, “Correction: -one unarmed woman shot by police -one unarmed woman beaten to death by police -two were impacted by flash bombs shot into a peaceful crowd, causing heart attacks -one officer died of “natural causes” -4 more officers were “suicided” following the event.”

AOC definitely forgot to mention this:

On Saturday, Trump’s Twitter account was up and running shortly after Elon Musk agreed to reinstate it.

Of course, it was later proven that President Trump did not incite a riot and instead told his supporters to “peacefully” protest at the US Capitol on January 6.
