President Trump, White House Hammer Andrew McCabe During Explosive “60 Minutes” Interview

The White House released a statement Sunday night hammering fired FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe as his explosive “60 Minutes” interview aired on CBS.

President Trump also took to his Twitter account to rip into the disgraced former FBI official.

The White House told “60 Minutes” that “Andrew McCabe was fired in disgrace from the FBI for lying, and he opened a completely baseless investigation into the president. Everyone knows he has no credibility.”

As the “60 Minutes” interview with McCabe aired, President Trump reposted two tweets from February 14th mocking the corrupt FBI official.

Disgraced FBI official Andrew McCabe sat down with CBS’s “60 Minutes” which aired Sunday night.

McCabe told CBS that he ordered two investigations into President Trump because he wanted to know if Trump fired FBI Director Comey to impede the Russia investigation and was Trump acting on behalf of the Russian government.

There was ZERO evidence that President Trump was working on behalf of the Russian government and there was zero evidence Donald Trump conspired with the Russians to win the 2016 presidential election when McCabe opened these two investigations.

James Comey testified to Congress in December that by the time he was fired there was no evidence of any type of conspiracy between Trump and Russia.

“I was speaking to the man who had just run for the presidency and won the election for the presidency and who might have done so with the aid of the government of Russia, our most formidable adversary on the world stage. And that was something that troubled me greatly,” McCabe said in the “60 Minutes” interview.

CBS’s Scott Pelley asked McCabe, “How long was it after that that you decided to start the obstruction of justice and counterintelligence investigations involving the president?”

McCabe replied, “I think the next day, I met with the team investigating the Russia cases. And I asked the team to go back and conduct an assessment to determine where are we with these efforts and what steps do we need to take going forward. I was very concerned that I was able to put the Russia case on absolutely solid ground in an indelible fashion that were I removed quickly or reassigned or fired that the case could not be closed or vanish in the night without a trace.”

McCabe told Scott Pelley that he was concerned Donald Trump was a “national security threat” which was his reasoning for opening a counterintel investigation into Trump.

Again, McCabe says this based on ZERO evidence.

McCabe also went into detail about DAG Rod Rosenstein’s plot to wear a wire and record President Trump. “I never get searched when I go into the White House. I could easily wear a recording device,” Rosenstein told McCabe.

McCabe said, “I can’t describe to you accurately enough the pressure and the chaos that Rod and I were trying to operate under at that time. It was incredibly turbulent, incredibly stressful. And it was clear to me that that stress was— was impacting the deputy attorney general. We talked about why the president had insisted on firing the director and whether or not he was thinking about the Russia investigation and did that impact his decision. And in the context of that conversation, the deputy attorney general offered to wear a wire into the White House. He said, “I never get searched when I go into the White House. I could easily wear a recording device. They wouldn’t know it was there.” Now, he was not joking. He was absolutely serious. And in fact, he brought it up in the next meeting we had. I never actually considered taking him up on the offer. I did discuss it with my general counsel and my leadership team back at the FBI after he brought it up the first time.”

These corrupt Deep State officials are now openly admitting they attempted a coup against President Trump — when are they going to prison??
