FBI Investigation Into Whether Trump Was Russian Agent Handed Over to Special Counsel – Is Mueller Still Investigating?

The New York Times reported Friday night that the FBI opened a counter-intel investigation into whether Trump was working on behalf of Russia right after the President fired Comey.

According to the New York Times, the investigation into whether Trump was a Russian agent was then handed over to Robert Mueller upon his appointment on May 17th, 2017, about one week after the President fired Comey.

Via The NY Times:

The special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, took over the inquiry into Mr. Trump when he was appointed, days after F.B.I. officials opened it. That inquiry is part of Mr. Mueller’s broader examination of how Russian operatives interfered in the 2016 election and whether any Trump associates conspired with them. It is unclear whether Mr. Mueller is still pursuing the counterintelligence matter, and some former law enforcement officials outside the investigation have questioned whether agents overstepped in opening it.

Is Mueller still continuing this counter-intel investigation?

The New York Times admitted in their report that there is no evidence that the Trump campaign EVER had any contact with Russian government officials, so if Mueller is still actively pursuing this part of the investigation, it is yet another part of his unconstitutional probe that was launched based on rumors, not facts.

Comey previously told lawmakers in a closed-door deposition in December that Andrew McCabe and DAG Rosenstein (who plotted to wear a wire and oust Trump via the 25th Amendment) opened up an obstruction of justice inquiry into Trump after the President fired Comey, however, news of the counter-intel investigation was not previously known to the public until the New York Times reported the story Friday.

According to Comey’s testimony to House Republicans, the FBI opened a counterintelligence investigation on four people associated with Donald Trump in July of 2016, however; Donald Trump was not under investigation at the time.

The real criminals are Obama’s FBI and DOJ officials who were frantic after President Trump fired Comey and decided they needed to ‘reign in Trump’ because they believed Trump’s actions ‘constituted a possible threat to national security.’

It is time for the President to declassify the June 2017 Carter Page FISA renewal application that Rod Rosenstein signed and let the chips fall where they may.
