President Trump Runs Stunning Ad During NBC’s Sunday Night Football, Urges ‘Vote Republican to Stop the Caravan’

President Trump aired a hard hitting commercial during NBC’s broadcast of Sunday Night Football encouraging Americans to “vote Republican” to “stop the caravan” of 7,000 migrants marching through Central American and Mexico to the United States.

A copy of the commercial was posted by a critic to Twitter. The ad features footage of the caravan, a convicted cop killer illegal alien, President Trump at the border and a woman walking into a voting booth.

The ad, which was rejected by CNN earlier, represents a decision by Trump to go all in on protecting the border as a closing argument for Tuesday’s mid-term elections.

Reaction was swift and angry.

How did they decide it was ok? I am disgusted that you would air that after refused to air it because it is explicitly racist. Shame on you.

And the inevitable call by the left to boycott NBC:

The ad was released on Friday with an announced $1.5 million ad buy.

AdAge reported on October 2 a 30 second ad on SNF runs around $665,000.

“After two years of price hikes for a 30-second commercial in NBC’s “Sunday Night Football,” those increases have stalled this season. Advertisers are paying $665,677 on average for a 30-second spot in the broadcast, about $30,000 less than the $699,602 advertisers paid last year.”
