Congressional candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the current darling of the left, stumbled over her words when discussing House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi on CNN.

The 28-year-old Democratic Socialist rambled nearly incoherently as she attempted to describe what kind of rank Pelosi holds in the party during an interview with Cuomo Prime Time on Wednesday evening.

“I think absolutely right now..she is the leader of..no no, um, she is speaker..or rather leader Pelosi..hopefully we’ll see..she’s ah..she’s the current leader of the party and..the party absolutely does have its leadership in the House and Senate,” the political newcomer babbled.

Pelosi and Ocasio-Cortez have not had the warmest relationship since her shocking victory over 10-term incumbent Rep. Joseph Crowley in a New York congressional race.

Pelosi, when asked about the broader meaning of Ocasio-Cortez’s rise brushed it off saying “they made a choice in one district.”

“So, let’s not get yourself carried away as an expert on demographics and the rest of that,” Pelosi said during a press conference after Ocasio-Cortez’s win. “We have an array of genders, generations, geography and the rest, opinion, in our caucus and we’re very proud of that.”

Ocasio-Cortez snapped back on CNN by saying that she believes “we’re in the middle of a movement in this country.”

“I feel this movement, but that movement is going to happen from the bottom up. That movement is going to come from voters,” Ocasio-Cortez continued.
