The interior Department’s watchdog launched an investigation into Ryan Zinke, Trump’s Interior Secretary according to a letter sent to lawmakers Wednesday.
Via far left Politico:
The Interior Department’s internal watchdog has opened a formal investigation into a real estate deal involving a foundation established by Ryan Zinke and developers including Halliburton Chairman David Lesar, which was first reported by POLITICO, according to a letter sent to lawmakers Wednesday.
The Office of Special Counsel (not to be confused with Mueller’s Special Counsel) previously opened a case file on President Trump’s Interior Secretary, Ryan Zinke for a possible violation of the Hatch Act because he posted a photo of Trump socks on Twitter.
Yes, that is correct. This Trump official is also being investigated over his socks. (photo below)
It is clear Zinke is being targeted over his support for President Trump.
Dan Bongino said it perfectly: Spy on political opponents -> No problem. Set up a private email server in violation of govt rules -> No penalty. Weaponize the IRS to harass political opponents -> No worries at all. BUT, wearing a pair of Trump socks. Must investigate ASAP.
