Video: James Woods Shows Homeless Camp Outside Oprah Winfrey’s West Hollywood Studio

Actor James Woods posted video Friday evening of a homeless encampment outside Oprah Winfrey’s West Hollywood studio that stretches at least a block long with a couple dozen tents erected on the sidewalk. A disheveled man is seen sitting on the curb between the tents as Woods drives by filming the camp.

Woods posted the video not to attack Winfrey, whom he praised for renovating the studio, called the Lot. He pointed at that families at a nearby new apartment building cannot walk their children to school. It would appear Woods’ intention is to highlight the ongoing decay in California.

“This is the sidewalk next to Oprah Winfrey’s studio in West Hollywood. She has done extensive, and truly beautiful renovations to The Lot. Brand new apartments were built across the street. The new resident families cannot walk their children on the sidewalk to the local school.”

Winfrey moved OWN to the Lot in 2014, eventually bringing her Chicago based Harpo Studios to the Lot also.

West Hollywood was in the news earlier this week for honoring porn star and Trump antagonist Stormy Daniels with a key to the city.

Woods had comment on her visit, “May not be a lot of buyers for her “wares” in this particular venue…”
