New emails obtained by conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch reveal more Mueller hypocrisy.
The Podesta Group, the now defunct lobbying firm ran by John Podesta’s brother, Tony Podesta, was lobbying a pro-Kremlin Ukrainian political front yet was never issued an indictment from Mueller even though they failed to register as a foreign agent.
Trump’s former campaign Chairman Paul Manafort, however, was indicted for the exact same offense.
It gets worse…
John Podesta was working for the Obama administration helping his brother Tony Podesta lobby on behalf of foreign companies a month after Hillary left the State Department.
Judicial Watch obtained 5 pages of records from the State Department after filing a FOIA lawsuit.
The Podesta Group was lobbying a pro-Kremlin Ukrainian front called Party of the Republics, Fitton said.
“Both Manafort and the Podesta Group had to file foreign agent registration act forms disclosing their lobbying activities for groups like the party of the regions and some other fronts associated with Ukraine. ONLY MANAFORT WAS INDICTED for not filing those forms properly and on time when he should have,” Fitton said.
“The Podesta Group, a mega Democrat lobbying firm was not indicted, nor was Mr. Podesta himself,” Fitton continued.
Enter John Podesta, a longtime Clinton operative…
“John Podesta is getting emails back and forth and agreeing to get some information and talking for his brother in this lobbying effort,” Fitton explained.
What other involvements did John Podesta have in his brother’s lobbying firm?
“These emails are a stark reminder that Mueller is only interested in the alleged foreign ties that involve Mr. Trump,” Fitton exclaimed.
The Podesta group was involved with the same Ukrainian entities that Manafort is being charged in federal court for, yet the Podestas aren’t being investigated.
As TGP previously reported, the Podesta Group, run by John Podesta’s brother Tony, retroactively filed DOJ disclosures for ‘pro-Putin lobbying.’
Robert Mueller issued grand jury subpoenas to several public relations firms last August, including Manafort and the Podesta Group, but only Manafort was indicted.
This is more proof Mueller is hunting down Trump and anyone connected to him.
