SHOWDOWN: Mueller Rejects Trump’s Request to Answer Questions in Writing

Dirty cop Robert Mueller has over 45 questions for President Trump that have nothing to do with Russian collusion.

Mueller wants to interview Trump as a way to get him into a perjury trap.

The Special Counsel has even threatened to issue a presidential subpoena.

One strategy the president and his team have is to answer some of Mueller’s questions in a written statement rather than Trump sitting down for an interview.

Rudy Giuliani revealed Mueller has rejected Trump’s request to respond in writing.

CBS reported:

Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who is now on President Trump’s legal team, told CBS News correspondent Paula Reid Monday that special counsel Robert Mueller’s office has rejected proposals to allow Mr. Trump to answer questions from investigators in writing.

The president’s legal team has signaled that this would be their preferred format for a possible interview, since it helps protect Mr. Trump from the possibility of lying or misleading investigators, which is a criminal offense.

Giuliani told CBS News it will take up to three weeks for him to get fully up to speed on the facts of the investigation and be prepared to engage in formal negotiations with the special counsel about the terms of a possible interview with Mr. Trump.

This witch hunt needs to be shut down immediately.

There is no reason why President Trump needs to answer to Mueller, an inferior executive to the president of the United States about why he fired Comey.

On Sunday, former personal attorney for Trump Joe diGenova said the president will not testify in Mueller’s corrupt, “bad faith” investigation.

Joe DiGenova slammed Mueller as an inferior executive in the Justice Department who does not have the authority to question the president of the United States over his executive powers.
