Freedom Caucus Chairman Sends Letter to Trump Requesting He Use Powers to Release ALL Docs on FISA Abuse and Unredacted Rosenstein Memo

Freedom caucus Chairman Mark Meadows (R-NC) sent President Trump a letter Wednesday afternoon requesting he use his Presidential powers to instruct AG Sessions to declassify and release ALL FISA abuse documents and the unredacted Rosenstein memo detailing Mueller’s scope.

We have reached the one year anniversary of the Mueller witch hunt and these GOP lawmakers have had enough of the stonewalling from the DOJ and FBI.

In a letter sent to President Trump on Wednesday afternoon, Freedom Caucus Chairman Mark Meadows, with the backing of Rep. Ron DeSantis and Rep. Jim Jordan asked President Trump to step in to instruct the DOJ release ALL relevant documents on FISA abuse and Rosenstein’s August 2 memo detailing Mueller’s scope.

“In the year that has passed since these committments were made, the Department of Justice has failed to fully comply with regular and repeated Congressional requests and subpoenas. Our power as Congress to conduct investigations is broad, inherent and mandated by the Constitution. As a separate and equal branch of government, we have a constitutional right to these documents,” Meadows said in his letter to President Trump.

Rep. Meadows requested documents related to FISA abuses, documents related to the initial investigation into Trump’s camp before the Special Counsel was appointed, and the unredacted August 2nd memo penned by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein detailing Mueller’s scope.
