REPORT: Alan Dershowitz Huddling With Trump At White House Amid Rumors POTUS Wants Lawyer To Join Legal Team

A day after the FBI raided the offices of longtime Trump attorney Michael Cohen, lawyer Alan Dershowitz is huddling with the President at the White House.

“Some news – Dershowitz has been at the White House for part of today as Trump seeks his input, and he’s supposed to have dinner with the president tonight, per WH sources,” New York Times White House Correspondent, Maggie Haberman tweeted.

In response, Axios reporter Jonathan Swan says that he heard rumors Trump wants Dershowitz to join his legal team.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Dershowitz joined Sean Hannity on Monday night following the raid on Cohen.

Earlier that day, FBI agents raided the office of one of Trump’s personal lawyers, Michael Cohen, with the blessing of Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.

Alan Dershowitz: This is a very dangerous day today for lawyer-client relations. I deal with clients all the time. I tell them on my word of honor all the time that what you tell me is sacrosanct. And now they say, just based on probable cause, even though they know there was cooperation, with Cohen. They can burst into an office grab all the computers. Then give it to another FBI agent and say, “You’re the firewall. We want you to now read all these confidential communications. Tell us which ones we can get and which ones we can’t get.” You know, if the shoe were on the other foot, if this were Hillary Clinton being investigated and they went in her lawyer’s office the ACLU would be on every television station in America, jumping up and down. The deafening silence of the ACLU and civil libertarians about the intrusion into the lawyer-client confidentiality is appalling.
