On Tuesday, Dutch lawyer Alex Van Der Zwaan was sentenced to 30 days in prison and a $20,000 fine for lying to special counsel prosecutors.

Last week, 33-year-old Dutch lawyer Alex Van Der Zwaan asked to avoid jail time in the Russian hoax investigation.

Last month Van Der Zwaan pleaded guilty to lying to Special Counsel investigators about his conversations with Trump’s former campaign aide Rick Gates.

Dutch lawyer Alex van der Zwaan, the son-in-law of Russian oligarch German Kahn, was sentenced Tuesday to 30 days in prison and must pay a $20,000 fine for lying to federal investigators about his contacts with senior Trump campaign official Rick Gates as part of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe.

Van der Zwaan, 33, received the first sentence in Mueller’s investigation into Russian meddling and potential collusion with Trump campaign associates during the 2016 presidential election.

“What I did was wrong. I apologize to my wife and my family,” van der Zwaan said in court Tuesday prior to receiving his sentence from Judge Amy Berman Jackson in U.S. District Court in Washington D.C. “I await your judgment.”

Jackson sentenced van der Zwaan to 30 days in prison, the $20,000 fine and two months of supervised release.

“We’re not talking about a traffic ticket,” Jackson said. “This was lying to a federal officer in connection with an investigation.”

Jackson seemed to have little sympathy for the argument that Van der Zwaan needed to return to his wife, who is pregnant, citing the family’s considerable wealth.

It is becoming abundantly clear there are two sets of laws; one for Deep State/Democrats and one for Trump/Trump’s orbit.

Rosenstein and Mueller are dirty and must be forced out.

In a heavily redacted August 2017 memo which surfaced late Monday evening in a court filing, Robert Mueller admits Rosenstein’s order appointing him to Special Counsel was intentionally vague.

Mueller is roving around looking for anything and everything on taxpayer dime.

Legal analyst for Fox News, Gregg Jarrett unleashed on Mueller and Rosenstein on Tuesday, calling for both to resign after they ‘colluded to break the law.’

“This violates the special counsel law that requires a specific statement of facts to be investigated,” says Attorney Gregg Jarrett.

Gregg Jarrett tweeted: Unethical Mueller, in his court filing, admits that Rosenstein’s order appointing him was intentionally vague. This violates the special counsel law that requires a specific statement of facts to be investigated. Rosenstein and Muller colluded to break the law and should resign
