Ex-Secret Service Agent Drops Cryptic Tweet About Hillary Clinton ‘Gatekeeper’ Philippe Reines

Did former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino just drop a clue about who is next to be implicated in the Steele dossier saga?

@PhilippeReines is a police-state supporting hack and a disgrace, even by liberal standards,” tweeted Bongino.

“Someone should ask @PhilippeReines about Beacon,” added Bongino.

The conservative podcaster could be referring to Beacon Global Strategies LLC, the consulting firm longtime Clinton aide Philippe Reines co-founded in 2013. Reines recently left the firm to battle full-time against President Trump’s agenda.

POLITICO reported:

Hillary Clinton’s longtime gatekeeper Philippe Reines is no longer just a freelancing critic of the Trump administration: he has quit his day job to devote himself full-time to excoriating the president and his top aides.

Reines left the consulting firm he co-founded four years ago, Beacon Global Strategies, on Sept. 5 – one week before the release of Clinton’s campaign memoir, “What Happened” – to turn full-time “resistance,” a word he says he hates.

Since leaving government in 2013, when Reines co-founded Beacon Global Strategies, he has remained a key member of Clinton’s innermost circle of confidantes. During last year’s campaign, he stepped in to play Trump during mock debate prep sessions opposite his old boss but remained firmly behind the scenes.

Reines recently claimed on Fox News that it was “crazy,” to believe former Clinton aide Sidney Blumenthal was one of Christopher Steele’s sources for his anti-Trump dossier.

“Blumenthal worked as a White House aide for Bill Clinton, and later worked with the Clinton Foundation after being denied a role by Obama Administration officials with then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, reports Sara Carter.

Outgoing Republican Congressman Trey Gowdy (R-SC) strongly implied to Fox News host Martha MacCallum that Clinton confidant, Blumenthal, was a source for Christopher Steele’s anti-Trump dossier.

In a letter released earlier this month, Senators Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) suggested Clinton contacts fed information to former British spy and dossier author Christopher Steele. “Another connection to the second dossier, according to several sources who spoke to this reporter, is close friend and advisor to Hillary Clinton, Sidney Blumenthal,” reported Sara Carter.

Carter previously reported Blumenthal was grilled by the FBI in 2016 in connection to the Steele dossier.
