WTH?… Deep State DOJ Claims a “Glitch” is to Blame For ‘Missing’ Clinton-Lynch Tarmac Meeting Docs

An attorney for Trump, Jay Sekulow is furious after the DOJ blamed a “glitch” for withholding ‘missing’ Clinton-Lynch tarmac meeting docs from the ACLJ.

How convenient. A glitch in the DOJ’s sophisticated software.

The American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) filed a FOIA lawsuit against the DOJ in order to obtain documents pertaining to the infamous Clinton-Lynch tarmac meeting at Phoenix Int’l airport in June of 2016.

The DOJ failed to turn over key documents according to ACLJ founder and Trump attorney, Jay Sekulow.

Sekulow and the ACLJ team sought to recover the key documents and the Deep State DOJ responded by saying a “glitch” prevented them from locating the documents.

Jay Sekulow reported on the missing tarmac meeting document via the ACLJ:

That document showed that within minutes of top officials in the AG’s office getting media inquiries about then-Attorney General Lynch’s surreptitious meeting with former President Clinton (in the final days of the DOJ/FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton), the DOJ alerted the FBI to the growing scandal.

We only learned about the DOJ’s lie and that it withheld this information from us as a result of a separate lawsuit we filed against the FBI for any documents it had about the meeting.

As we told you, we have gone back to court demanding the missing documents from the DOJ and questioning the adequacy of the DOJ’s search for responsive documents.

Late last week, the DOJ responded in federal court claiming that a “glitch” in its “sophisticated” software prevented it from locating that document.

First, to claim the software system is “sophisticated” and then blame a “glitch” is oxymoronic. What is more, it didn’t even attempt to explain the so-called “glitch” in technical terms. It only stated that after learning (from ACLJ court filings) that there was a missing document, it discovered and fixed the “glitch” and that no other responsive documents were withheld by the “glitch” – just the one we already knew about.

Jay Sekulow tweeted, “The #DOJ just absurdly claimed that a “glitch” is to blame for withholding Clinton-Lynch documents from the @ACLJ. Read & RT. “The American people deserve more than grade school excuses.””

Judicial Watch previously released 29 pages of heavily redacted Clinton-Lynch tarmac meeting documents. From those documents we learned the FBI wasn’t even concerned about the scandalous meeting, all they cared about was hiding the details from the public!

Glitches, golf and grandkids. Nothing to see here, folks.
