BOOM! After SOTU Address, POTUS Trump Promises GOP Rep. To “100%” #ReleaseTheMemo (VIDEO)

Following his first State of the Union address, President Trump was asked by Rep. Jeff Duncan (R-SC) if he would release the FISA abuse memo. Trump replied, “oh yeah, don’t worry, 100%.”

CBS‘s Alan He tweeted about the exchange shortly after it took place.

As The Gateway Pundit‘s Jim Hoft reported, White House Legislative Director Marc Short went on with Stuart Varney Tuesday to discuss the most recent developments on the secret FISA Memo.

Marc told Stuart the memo is at the White House and the administration is reviewing the document now.

Marc Short: Stuart I think the president sides on the side of transparency so I think if there were abuses he wants the American people to know it. But let me be clear that the president can do this in a responsible fashion. We only received the document last night. White House counsel began to review it last night. The National Security Council will be leading the inter-agency process here to make sure no secrets were divulged and no methods were divulged. And so it will done in a very responsible manner.

Trump’s promise come amid reports that FBI officials could not identify any errors in the “shocking,” FISA abuse memo set to be released. Schiff has previously branded the four-page document drafted by House Intelligence staffers as, “misleading and inaccurate.”

FOX News reports:

Two senior FBI officials have now reviewed a controversial Republican staff memo alleging abuses of government surveillance programs during the 2016 presidential campaign, a source familiar with the matter told Fox News – adding that the officials “could not point to any factual inaccuracies.”

The two officials – one from the bureau’s counterintelligence division and the other from the legal division – followed up after an initial review of the memo during a rare Sunday trip to Capitol Hill by FBI Director Christopher Wray. […]

The FBI offered no comment to Fox News regarding bureau officials’ review of the document. Senior DOJ officials also had the opportunity to review the memo at DOJ headquarters on Monday.

In a recent statement to the press, Schiff said releasing the memo would, “grant House Members access to a profoundly misleading set of talking points drafted by Republican staff attacking the FBI and its handling of the investigation.
