ALL FLIGHTS GROUNDED IN ATLANTA–
POWER GOES OUT AT WORLD’S BUSIEST AIRPORT

The cause of the outage is still unknown.

The airport posted a number of tweets Sunday afternoon.

The terminals were evacuated.



There are reports of SMOKE IN TERMINALS…

Georgia Power is investigating.

UPDATE: Officials shut down the interstate leading to the Atlanta Airport.

Power company still has no idea how fire started.

UPDATE: Authorities say a routine training exercise near the world’s busiest airport produced a plume of heavy, dark smoke… And shut down the airport for hours!
