Dana Loesch Corrects Smears and Lies Against Gateway Pundit and Jim Hoft Over False Doxing Allegations

Since the election of Donald J. Trump as the 45th President of the United States The Gateway Pundit (TGP) has been under constant attack by the liberal media, far left groups, angry #NeverTrumpers and Trump opponents.

TGP supported Donald Trump for President as did millions of Americans. Donald Trump won more votes than any Republican in US history in the GOP primary and then the national election. Donald Trump won the presidency in an electoral landslide.

Since January we have suffered significant hits in advertising. Far left groups have targeted TGP as a hate site for supporting President Trump. One of the largest advertising networks labeled TGP as “undesirable” and refused to post ads on our website.

In August The Gateway Pundit was notified that former friend and conservative firebrand, Dana Loesch, went on air and accused Jim Hoft and The Gateway Pundit of posting photos and information on her home address online.

Here is what Dana Loesch accused Jim of on her syndicated radio show:

I say this as somebody who has been targeted by the alt right. I say this as somebody who had her home addresses and photos of her house published by the alt right which were then republished-circulated by Jim Hoft Gateway Pundit. He is part of the alt right and they hate me. They hate my guts because I have confronted their identity politics. I hate identity politics. I hate all that crap I think it is a poor substitute for a belief.

The segment aired on several stations across the country.

This was a complete lie. Jim Hoft and The Gateway Pundit never did such a thing. We have never posted Dana’s address or photos of her home online. We have never retweeted photos of her home or her address online.

Loesch also included Jim Hoft and TGP in the Alt-right movement – a movement now linked to white supremacists and racists. Richard Spencer has personally attacked Jim Hoft and reporter Lucian Wintrich repeatedly on Twitter. According to the leader of the Alt-right we are their opposition, not members of the movement.

Linking someone to the Alt-Right at this point puts a target on that person. This was another despicable smear.

In August TGP contacted an attorney.

After several consultations with our attornies Dana Loesch agreed to correct the record.  However, she would not issue an apology.

On Tuesday Dana Loesch issued a 5 second correction on her syndicated radio show.

After a number of emails back and forth with her attorney and ours, Dana Loesch eventually agreed to correct  her lie on the air.

On Tuesday Dana Loesch issued a 5 second correction on her syndicated radio show.

… and of course one of the reasons I had to move was because people were posting my stuff on the Internet. Now to clarify in a previous program I made reference that Jim Hoft and Gateway Pundit had republished and recirculated my home address however these things were posted by others and not by them.

Here is the audio of her correction:

It was shameful and heartbreaking that Dana shared the original lies on the air.

For the record, after scouring the internet we were not able find who “doxed” Dana Loesch and posted photos of her home online in August. In November Dana said she was forced to move because her home address and photos of her home were posted online.  Again, we were not able to identify who – if anyone – was posting this information online.

We hope Dana and her family are safe.
