BOOM! Republican National Committee Resumes Financial Support For Judge Roy Moore

According to a senior Republican National Committee official, the group will resume its financial support for Alabama GOP Senate candidate Judge Roy Moore. “We stand with the president,” a senior RNC official told Breitbart News reporter Matthew Boyle.

Breitbart News reports:

The RNC notified the RNC members from Alabama on Monday afternoon that the national party would resume financial support to back the state party in its efforts to elect Moore to the U.S. Senate. At this time, since this development is fresh, it remains unclear exactly what that means, but sources close to RNC leadership told Breitbart News that it would become apparent in the coming days.

The RNC pulled its support amid reports of sexual harassment against Moore.

The news comes after President Trump tweeted his support for Moore on Monday.

“Democrats refusal to give even one vote for massive Tax Cuts is why we need Republican Roy Moore to win in Alabama. We need his vote on stopping crime, illegal immigration, Border Wall, Military, Pro Life, V.A., Judges 2nd Amendment and more. No to Jones, a Pelosi/Schumer Puppet!”

Trump added, “Putting Pelosi/Schumer Liberal Puppet Jones into office in Alabama would hurt our great Republican Agenda of low on taxes, tough on crime, strong on military and borders…& so much more. Look at your 401-k’s since Election. Highest Stock Market EVER! Jobs are roaring back!”

According to Judge Moore’s wife, Kayla Moore, President Trump called to give the Alabama Senate candidate his “full support.”

The Hill reports:

Kayla Moore, the wife of embattled Alabama Republican Senate nominee Roy Moore, said Monday that President Trump called her husband offering his “full support” in the special election race.

“Judge Moore just got off the phone with President Trump-we have his full support! Thank you Mr. President! Let’s MAGA!” Kayla Moore wrote in a Facebook post.

OANN has more:

Judge Moore’s campaign chairman Mr. Bill Armistead told OAN first about the short phone conversation.  President Trump told the senatorial candidate that he “liked a fighter.” The president also told Moore that he needed a fighter on Capitol Hill.  President Trump ended the telephone conversation by saying, “Go get ‘em Roy.”

Shortly after Trump’s endorsement, Breitbart chairman Steve Bannon went on XM radio to break down why the move makes sense.

“I think that’s why you see President Trump coming in now, understanding the importance of Roy Moore, particularly against somebody like Jones, who’s very radical – whether it’s on life issues, whether it’s on gun issues, whether it’s on the border,” said Bannon.

“Here’s a guy that didn’t even have the guts and the courage to come up on the Kate Steinle situation,” Bannon added.

“It’s just pathetic. The difference down in Alabama, for the people of Alabama, is pretty clear.”
