Sheriff Clarke SLAMS NFL Anthem Protesters in Viral Tweet

Former Milwaukee Sheriff David Clarke is fed up with the spoiled NFL players disrespecting the Anthem and American flag.

He mocked the NFL for having to write out how adult players conduct themselves during the anthem when it’s something he ‘learned in grade school’.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, along with the head of the NFL Players Association, are meeting with the owners Oct.17-18 in New York to discuss a plan. Pathetic.

Sheriff Clarke tweeted, “NFL having to write out how players conduct themselves during the anthem is HILARIOUS. I learned how to honor the flag in GRADE SCHOOL”

The tweet immediately went viral. It has been re-tweeted over 8,000 times and has over 23,000 ‘likes’. This is why we love Sheriff Clarke!

Sheriff Clarke’s tweet was in response to Roger Goodell’s statement on Tuesday saying the league believes everyone should stand during the national anthem.

NFL players were outraged on Wednesday that there will be no more sitting, kneeling or stretching during the national anthem.

Now Goodell is saying the NFL is not seeking a mandate to force players to stand. Brilliant.

The NFL hit a new low on Monday night — in ratings.

Monday’s night game was down double-digits from last year’s game.

Thursday night football ratings were also down.

The NFL is hurting as the disrespect of the national anthem continues.

Fans are burning gear, sponsors are dropping and stadiums are sparse; the NFL is done.
