Hillary Clinton Using Forearm Crutches After Breaking Toe On UK Book Tour (PHOTOS)

Freelance reporter and political consultant Michael J. Hout tweeted a photo of Hillary Clinton using forearm crutches during a visit to Yale Law School Saturday. Clinton’s use of the walking aide comes after breaking her toe during a UK book tour to promote “What Happened.”

Clinton visited her alma mater on the same day she held a book signing event at the Wesleyan R.J. Julia Bookstore in Middletown, CT. The bookstore had strict guidelines for book signing attendees — “She will sign a maximum of two books for each attendee and will not personalize books,” posted Wesleyan R.J. Julia Bookstore on its website.

“Hillary Clinton at @YaleLawSch today wearing braces of some kind,” tweeted Hout.

“Blessed to meet a Queen and Yale Law School alumna,” tweeted forever_bri. Noticeably absent are Clinton’s crutches.

Hillary Clinton was in Middletown on Saturday to sign her new book, “What Happened,” which talks about her 2016 campaign for president. The signing was at 11 a.m., however hundreds of people gathered outside R J Julia Bookstore in Middletown much earlier, some since 7 a.m.

Talia Mckeen, who is 7-years-old from East Granby wrote a letter to give to Hillary. Inside the card she wrote, ” Dear Mrs. Clinton thank you for running for president and helping lots of people with problems, we appreciate it very much thank you.”

About a dozen protesters gathered on the other side of the street, across from the bookstore.

Hillary Clinton injured her foot after praising NFL kneelers in the UK.

“Looks like Hillary Clinton hurt her foot in the UK and has had to cancel/reschedule a bunch of interviews…,” tweeted reporter Hadas Gold.

The former Democratic presidential candidate failed to show up for the BBC’s “Woman’s Hour” and the “Graham Norton Show, as well as ITV’s “This Morning” show, the Daily Mail reported.

She took a tumble after her appearance Sunday night at the Southbank Centre’s London Literature Festival, sources told the news outlet.

“Supposed to be interviewing Hillary Clinton… but she’s fallen over and hurt her foot!! Gutted,” “This Morning” host Philip Schofield said on Snapchat.
