President Duterte Says He Will Kill His Own Son If He is Involved in Drug Trade

Say no to drugs.

President Rodrigo Duterte said Wednesday he would have police kill his own son, Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte, if Paulo is caught in the drug trade.

This came after rumors that his son was involved in the Chinese drug trade.
ABS-CBN reported:

President Rodrigo Duterte on Wednesday said he has ordered police to kill his own son, Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte, if the latter is caught involved in the drug trade.

Duterte reiterated this vow amid Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV’s allegations that the President’s eldest son was part of a Chinese drug triad.

Duterte added that he will protect the police officers if they killed his son for drug trafficking.

Rappler reported:

The President claimed on Wednesday, September 20, that he would order Paolo’s death if the smuggling or drug trafficking allegations against his son are true.

“I told Pulong, ‘My order is to kill you if you are caught… And I will protect the police who will kill you,'” he said, using Paolo’s nickname.

Duterte was speaking at the awarding of outstanding government workers in Malacañang.

He recalled his previous warnings when he was still Davao City mayor. Paolo’s supposed illegal activities had already been making headlines then.

“I said before, if I have a child into drugs, you just kill them so no one can say anything,” he said.
