Huckabee: If POTUS “Shot” Charlottesville Driver Between the Eyes, He’d Still Be Criticized (VIDEO)

Sunday, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee commented on “Fox and Friends” that he – justly – feels that the President is being criticized too harshly for his refusal to call out JUST the white supremacists for the Charlottesville violence.

President Trump was right not to single out just the white supremacists as Antifa and black supremacists also gathered, all of these fringe movements came together to make fools of themselves in the name of identity politics.

Huckabee asserted that so much of the criticism is coming from left-wing outlets that are completely disillusioned as to what is going on. The media is actively attempting to make fringe movements appear as if they are larger than they are, when the truth is next to no one would ever do anything in reality quite like what occurred on a macro level.

Charlottesville was role-play fighting that went terribly wrong.

The media does not want President Trump to look good, and so they made these monsters seem like they were under everyone’s beds. Like Nazis were storming our city capitals and raising fag with red banners, white circles, and black swastikas on them. The leftists in the media, the liberal and phony GOP politicians and the corporate global behemoths all want Trump out. The easiest thing they could do to aide in that is to put David Duke on TV saying Trump’s name and politicize a group of fringe freaks that mean nothing to the overall national discourse.

Huckabee’s statement made this point clear on “Fox and Friends” when he said:

“If Donald Tump has suddenly jumped on Marine One . . . down to Charlottesville, walked into the jail where the young man was being held, shot him between the eyes, I guarantee you people said he didn’t use the right caliber bullet . . . [Trump was] explicitly clear in condemning what happened and the fact was he will never satisfy those who hate his every word.
