FOX News contributor and attorney Gregg Jarrett argued tonight that several of the anti-Trump leakers committed felonies including former FBI Director James Comey.
Gregg Jarrett: If you’re leaking like the FBI has about an ongoing investigation and it deals with a national security matter like Russia interference, yeah that’s a crime. And even if you do what Comey appears to have done which is to abscond with government property, convert it to his own purposes and convey it to somebody else for the purpose of leaking to the media. That is also as I read the statute a crime.
Former FBI Director James Comey admitted during congressional testimony that he was a leaker of secret documents to the press.
For some reason he was not arrested after the testimony.
