BREAKING=> NEVER TRUMPER GOP Senator Calls For Senate Intel Committee to Interview Donald Trump Jr

Never Trumper and GOP Senator, Susan Collins called for the Senate Intelligence Committee to interview Donald Trump Jr. because he had a meeting with a Russian lawyer during the 2016 presidential election.

The bottom feeders at The New York Times got another anonymous tip from deep state officials that revealed Trump insiders met with a Russian lawyer to discuss adoptions from Russia.

–And Deep State officials leaked this to the NY Times.

The group that organized the meeting with Trump advisers and the Russian lawyers was the same Democratic group Fusion GPS that was behind the discredited Trump dossier.

The Hill reports:

Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) is calling for the Senate Intelligence Committee to interview Donald Trump Jr. over a meeting he held with a Russian lawyer who promised to provide compromising information on Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential contest.

The Maine lawmaker, who sits on the committee, told reporters that “our intelligence committee needs to interview him and others who attended the meeting.”

Sen. James Lankford (R-Okla.), who also sits on the Senate Intelligence panel, told NPR earlier in the day that the committee is “walking through the details” of the meeting.

Donald Trump Jr. responded to the report by saying, “Happy to work with the committee to pass on what I know.”

As TGP previously reportedThe New York Post defended Don Jr. saying the “The Times ‘exposé’ on Donald Trump Jr is one big yawn”:

The news was delivered by the New York Times in the breathless tones that might announce a cure for cancer or the discovery of life on Mars:

“President Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., was promised damaging information about Hillary Clinton before agreeing to meet with a Kremlin-connected Russian lawyer during the 2016 campaign, according to three advisers to the White House briefed on the meeting and two others with knowledge of it.”

To which a rational response is … who wouldn’t? And also: So what? A third response is unprintable.

Just as the “Russian collusion” fantasy — a resentful smear cooked up in the immediate aftermath of Clinton’s stunning defeat last fall — was finally fading from the fever swamps of the “resistance” and its media mouthpieces, along comes the Times with a pair of journalistic nothingburgers.

But in the end, the lawyer had nothing, gave nothing, got nothing in return, in a meeting that lasted 20 minutes. This is a scandal?

Donald Trump Jr issued a statement regarding his meeting with the Russian lawyer:
