Black Lives Matter and Confederate Supporters Clash at Historic Statue in Forest Park in St. Louis

St. Louis is the latest city to join in the movement to remove historic Confederate and Democrat statues.

City Treasurer Tishaura Jones created a GoFundMe pagelast week to raise money for the removal of a Confederate monument in Forest Park in St. Louis.

On Tuesday Black Lives Matter protesters and Confederate protesters clashed in Confederate Memorial in Forest Park in St. Louis.

The Confederate Memorial was dedicated in 1914 after the Ladies Confederate Monument Association raised $23,000 for its construction.

Police were called in to the Forest Park.

Police were sent out to keep the peace.

Friend Ed BigCon was there tonight.
This #BLM protester hates cops.

Here’s some video after the tension died down.
