White House spokesman Sean Spicer was asked today why President Trump needed funding for the border wall if Mexico was going to pay for it.
Sean Spicer: Well I think Jim the president has been very clear that initially we needed to get the funding going and there would be several mechanisms to make sure that that happens. That funding piece will happen in due time.
CNN’s Jim Acosta then went on to ask why a wall was necessary.
Apparently, he missed out on the last election campaign.
