Protesters Removed By Force After Defying Governor
On Thursday military vehicles, bulldozers and heavily armed police showed up to remove protesters who were blocking construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline. RT reports that roughly 100 protesters remained in the camp on Wednesday after they defied orders from the North Dakota Governor to evacuate.
President Trump pushed the Dakota Access Pipeline project forward after being stalled for months under President Obama. The move is expected to help create jobs and help stimulate the American economy.
