Trump Says He Is Considering Pardon

Former navy sailor Kristian Saucier’s family heard some good news during an interview President Trump had with Fox News’ Sean Hannity.

In the exclusive interview with Fox News President Trump said that he is considering pardoning Saucier for taking photos while inside a nuclear submarine. During his campaign for President Trump said he believed the one year sentence being served by Saucier was harsh.

From Fox News:

“I’m actually looking at it right now,” Trump told Hannity. “I think it’s very unfair in light of what’s happened with other people.”

Sadie Saucier, who Friday morning was preparing to visit her husband at the Federal Medical Center at Fort Devens, Mass., where he has been held since October, said the words gave her hope.

“Oh my God, I’m hoping it’s for real,” Sadie Saucier told Fox News Friday morning as she was preparing to visit her husband at the Federal Medical Center at Fort Devens, Mass., where he has been held since October. “I’m confident in Trump.”

When Trump refers to “unfair in light of what’s happened with other people,” he is referring to Chelsea Manning who stole hundreds of thousands of classified documents and leaked them.

Manning was serving a 35 year prison sentence when President Obama decided to commute Manning’s sentence which she has served only 6 out of 35 years of.

President Trump has voiced his displeasure of the traitorous Manning by calling her a traitor.
