Caregiver Caught Abusing Elderly Woman
59-Year-Old Brenda Floyd was taken into custody earlier this month after being caught on camera abusing a 94-year-old.

Brenda Floyd, 59, is accused of injury to elderly individual in the incident, which occurred Jan. 1 at a home in the 800 block of Oak Valley.
Investigators say a video of the alleged incident shows Floyd hitting the elderly woman on the back of the head, cursing at her and calling her names while berating the victim for feeding the dog. The victim, originally sitting in a living room chair, gets up and uses a walker to leave the room while the suspect continues to strike and yell at her.
According to court records, the elderly woman’s son had installed a camera system in the home after he noticed bruises and other apparent injuries on his mother.
