Hillary Veep Nominee Tim Kaine Tells Small FL Crowd: ‘Evidence ‘Very big and historic win’ for Clinton

In a sign of what could be premature over-confidence fifteen days from Election Day, Democratic Party vice presidential nominee Sen. Tim Kaine of Virginia said in Florida Sunday evening that evidence is pointing to a “very big and historic win” and a “big margin” of victory for his presidential running mate Hillary Clinton over Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.

Kaine’s statement was reported by two reporters covering his appearance before a small crowd in Orlando.

NBC’s Kailani Koenig:

“.@timkaine in Orlando: “We are seeing evidence that this could be a very big & historic win for Hillary Clinton.” (FL early vote begins tmw)”

CNN’s Betsy Klein also reported Kaine spoke of a “big margin” for victory.

“.@timkaine in Orlando: “We are seeing evidence that this could be a very big & historic win for Hillary Clinton.” (FL early vote begins tmw)

“Another sign of confidence: Beyond a “big margin” of victory, Kaine says Clinton admin needs a Congress that will be a “partner in progress””
