Liberal NBC reporter Chuck Todd calls Speaker Paul Ryan an “open borders” internationalist.
Chuck Todd: Look, Paul Ryan and Donald Trump have two different visions of conservatism. Paul Ryan is an internationalist, OK with intervention, a free trader, pro-immigration, sort of OPEN BORDERS. And Donald Trump is sort of an old fashioned Taft conservative – Less interventionist, a little bit more skeptical of trade, wanting to tighten immigration.
No wonder Paul Ryan hates his base.
They agree with him on nothing.
