At a recent campaign event in New Jersey, the woman introducing Hillary Clinton tried to work the Pledge of Allegiance into her remarks but awkwardly stumbled over the word God.
The Washington Free Beacon has the transcript:
“Only Hillary can bring us together, as one nation,” she started.
She then sputtered before skipping the “under God” portion of the pledge.
“In-dis-visible, with liberty and justice for all!” she finished.
Meanwhile, Clinton just stood there, smiling and nodding.
It was awkward.

You can almost see the exact moment this woman realized that as a good progressive, she shouldn’t mention God.
